Cultivating Community Partnership
The Cultivating Community Task Force is a community organization that seeks to celebrate the many cultures represented throughout Branch County, Michigan. They hosted over two dozen events during fall of 2022, to celebrate our cultural connectivity through art, music, dance, speakers, book reads, conversations, food, and community service.
In the fall of 2023, the task force met again and decided to create a street fair event featuring food, displays, vendors, and music. The first Cultural Jubilee: A Gathering of Neighbors took place in 2024 with over 30 vendors and seven music/dance groups. Planning is underway for this year's festival on May 16, 2026. We hope you will join us for future events, and encourage anyone interested to join us in the planning.

Premye Cultural Jubilee: A Gathering of Neighbors te fèt an 2024 avèk plis pase 30 vandè ak sèt gwoup mizik/dans. Planifikasyon deja ap fèt pou festival ane sa a ki pral fèt 16 me 2026. Nou espere ou pral patisipe nan evènman kap vini yo, epi nou ankouraje nenpòt moun ki enterese pou vin ede nan planifikasyon an.

La organización comunitaria Cultivating Community Task Force busca celebrar las muchas culturas representadas en todo Branch County, Michigan. Organizaron más de dos docenas de eventos durante el otoño de 2022 para celebrar nuestra conexión cultural a través del arte, la música, la danza, oradores, lecturas de libros, conversaciones, comida y servicio comunitario.
En el otoño de 2023, el grupo volvió a reunirse y decidió crear un evento tipo feria callejera con comida, exhibiciones, vendedores y música. El primer Cultural Jubilee: A Gathering of Neighbors se llevó a cabo en 2024 con más de 30 vendedores y siete grupos de música y danza. Actualmente se está planificando el festival de este año para el 16 de mayo de 2026. Esperamos que se unan a nosotros en futuros eventos y animamos a cualquier persona interesada a participar en la planificación.

Participating organizations: Coldwater Community Center, Branch County Community Foundation, Tibbits Opera House, Branch Intermediate School District, Branch District Library, KCC Grahl Center, AIRA of Coldwater, Coldwater Main Street, Community Center at the Beech House, Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce, and Branch County Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence.
